In Label Queen of Hungary a figure is incarcerated behind the grid of luggage labels. The catalogue for the exhibition Choice Bread, held at the Paton Gallery in London in 1997, quotes Guild on this work as follows: "by painting systematic rows of labels, a grid is created within which the portrait is constrained. The Labels represent social and cultural conditioning."
