Paul Gladwyn is a Welsh painter, draughtsman, and collagist who was born in 1956 in Anglesey. During his life he lived in Northwest Scotland. He graduated with honours from Trent Polytechnic in 1980-3 and went on to study at the Slade School of Fine Art in 1993-5. Among his works, he was best known for his vibrant landscapes with abstract shapes. Gladwyn's solo show Out of The Darkness was toured by the Highland Regional Council and the Scottish Arts Council in 1994, the same year he began performing solo with East West and The Ceilidh Place. In 1999, East West held a memorial show.
