James Fullarton, born 1946
A painter and lecturer born in Glasgow, Fullarton he studied at the School of Art under David Donaldson, gaining his diploma in 1969. From that time he painted full-time, whilst lecturing for the Scottish Arts Council. Fullarton uses a broad palette, with colour the dominant feature, for portraits, landscape and still life in oil and acrylic.
