Jill Watson is a sculpture that works primarily in bronze. This bronze with patina sculpture represents a flock of sheep which is reminiscent of her childhood while growing up on a farm.

Jill Watson was born in Edinburgh in 1957 and grew up on a farm in the Carse of Gowrie near Perth. She studied at Edinburgh College of Art for five years before travelling to Italy to learn how to carve marble and work in bronze alongside artisans in Pietrasanta, near Carrara. She primarily works in bronze as a figurative sculptor. She has created public works for The Queen's Gallery, Holyrood, The Hub, Edinburgh's Festival Centre, and Hampton Court. Jill divides her time between her studios in Edinburgh and Pietrasanta.
